Look at Miss Ohio

by Dye Mad Yarns

"Oh me oh my oh, would you look at Miss Ohio?
She’s a-running around with the ragtop down
She says "I wanna do right, but not right now'"

Gillian Welch's "Look at Miss Ohio" is a stripped down folk song that tells a story without being judgmental about the titular Miss Ohio and what she wants to do versus what people seem to expect of her. Is it a condemnation of pageantry? A reflection of what it's like being a public figure and the public being different than private? Eh, it's open to interpretation.

Our Look at Miss Ohio yarn is a sad springy combination of straw yellow, slate blue, rust red, and watermelon pink.
