Part of our SnOhio collection, inspired by the Ohio Turnpike's 2022 Name-A-Snowplow Contest Winners, the Blizzard of Oz. This name is a pun of the name of the movie, Wizard of Oz.

We take our color inspiration from the Technicolor marvel that was the Wizard of Oz - the yellow brick road, the Emerald City, the poppy fields.

Dye Mad Yarns started in a kitchen in May of 2020 and has grown to a storefront with a team of four! We're combining a love of history, politics, quirks, camp, and absurd Americana with a keen sense of color and dye yarns that highlight the fun, whimsy, and weirdness in our inspirational subject: Ohio and the Midwest. Whether its landmarks, food, culture, politics, experiences, or cryptids, Dye Mad is a love letter to the Midwest and its eccentricities.
