Virgo

It's VIRGO SZN which is MY SZN because MY BIRTHDAY IS SOON (Sept 17)!! Virgo is our next earth sign and our next mutable sign! Virgo is ruled by Mercury, the planet of communication, intellect, memory and transportation, and in the western tropical Zodiac, Virgo encompasses August 23-September 22.  

Virgo is represented by the virgin maiden and associated with wheat for the harvest season (or maybe... corn 👀). This constellation is associated with the Greek goddess Demeter or her daughter Persephone, but more specifically Astraea, the last immortal to abandon Earth at the end of the Silver Age when the gods fled to Olympus (hence Virgo's designation as an Earth sign). There is a host of other mythology associated with the Virgo constellation, from the Athenian maiden Erigone, to the Virgin Mary (Jesus was born in Bethlehem, or "House of Bread"), to Egyptian mythology connecting the Virgo constellation to the beginning of the wheat harvest. 

Mutable signs are ruled by one of two planets, Mercury (Gemini and Virgo) and Jupiter (Pisces and Sagitarrius). Think of these are micro and macro - Virgos love the knitty-gritty, the details, the input, the analyzing, the processing, the organizing. Some may consider them high strung and perfectionist, but as a mutable sign they are at their core adaptable. They have considered every option and outcome and are ready for whatever life may throw them. Virgos are hardworking and helpful, often driven by a need to serve others. Like other Earth signs, Virgos are absolutely about the nicer things in life, but with those nice things flows practicality. Think high-end kitchen equipment and linen sheets. Virgos are definitely the people to talk to if you're looking for an opinion on the best types of pens and notebooks.
