Granny Stripe Ornament Class

Add some granny style to your holiday decor this season!
In this one class lesson students will learn
- Working in rounds
- Changing colors
- Increase and decrease shaping
This class is perfect for advanced beginners or intermediate students who enjoy a make-a-long class.
This class takes place on Friday, 12/6 from 6-8pm.
Materials Needed
- DK Weight Yarn - This is a great project for using yarn scraps and leftovers! But we will have DK weight minis available for purchase, perfect for this project.
- Hook - US C / 2.75mm or size needed to make gauge. Consider bringing along a US B / 2.25mm or US D / 3.25mm hook along as well, just in case we need to adjust for gauge.
- Darning needle, scissors.
Students are not obligated to purchase their yarn and supplies from Dye Mad Yarns, but do get 15% off! Just let whoever is checking you out that you're shopping for a class with us. Ornaments/baubles will be provided.
- Pattern: This is a free pattern! Granny Square Ornament Ball by Julie Grimmett, available for free on Ravelry. However, Rachael will bring printed copies of these instructions for all students in attendance.
Prerequisites
This is NOT a beginner level class, but a great class for an advanced beginner! Students must already know how to single and double crochet comfortably. This class is ages 17+.
