Intro to Knitting Socks
$95.00Description
Conquer your fears and dive feet first into making socks! Join Tobi to learn how to make a cuff down sock in the round with the magic loop method on circular needles. This class is perfect for intermediate knitters or advanced beginners ready to take on a challenge.
This is a three week class, where you will learn how to
- Use the magic loop knitting technique
- Make a heel flap and heel turn
- Pick up stitches and make a gusset
- Grafting with the Kitchener stitch
- Read a sock pattern!
There is an expectation that students will continue to work on their socks between classes, as they're not likely to finish their sock while in class. We will be covering the trickiest parts while we're together, and you'll be well prepared to finish your socks on your own!

Homework will be assigned between classes!
