June ‘24 YOTM: Suncatcher

by Dye Mad Yarns

$30.00

Happy June! It’s Pride Month!

I’m going to paint a picture for you: you get home from your shift at the local hand dyed yarn shop and sit down to watch a movie (The Eras Tour: Taylor’s Version). The sun begins to set. You look up from the TV to see the light reflecting off the sun catcher you put in your window weeks ago and now your living room is filled with rainbows!!

Now imagine you are also in charge of the next Chester’s Skein Society theme. And I know what you’re thinking, “Rainbows? For June? Groundbreaking.” But I love a good rainbow and I swear the light from the sun catcher was prettiest thing I had ever seen. So I turned it into a yarn.

This yarn is dyed in colors reminiscent of the prismatic rainbow I saw in my living room. It’s a pain in the ass to dye and took me forever, but I had fun with it.
