614 Stitch Marker Set

Happy 6.14 Day! We're celebrating with a long awaited Columbus set! We had a lot of local landmarks to choose from and decided on these 6 - with other options set aside for projects later *wink, wink*

Landmarks Include
The Art Statue at CCAD - Designed by Ric Petry and originally started as a joke (we're shocked!) about needing a "giant ART sign."

The Book Loft! - Our beloved local book store and one of the largest independent book stores in the country. Want to spend the day lost in 32 rooms of books and book adjacent goodies? Here's your spot!

Columbus Dispatch Sign - A beacon for downtown, the Dispatch building has had a large sign atop it since the early 1900s, this being the latest iteration. The original was an electrograph that rotated headlines high above the city.

Columbus, at the center of Ohio. The heart of the Heart of it All.

Scioto Deer - These guys were created by Terry Allen and were one of the earliest city funded art projects in Columbus. Why deer? Scioto comes from the Shawnee word meaning "hairy water" - they found the river coated in floating deer hair after they traveled from the Carolinas. Tell me that isn't a fun, weird fact!

And last, but certainly not least - Buckeye Football! It's impossible to miss the sea of red attire on Saturdays during college football season, so we certainly couldn't leave it out.
