Listen, I wish I could be detached and not cynical about everything related to Christmas, but let's be realistic. It's likely that Santa is conceived of in red because of the historical depictions of Saint Nicholas, the 4th century bishop, have him wearing red robes. BUT it is more solidified that Santa is in red because of Coca-Cola advertising starting in the 1930s - after all, what is Coca-Cola's branding color? IT'S ALL PROPAGANDA AND YET we are nostalgic for it (until we see the AI horrors of this year's Coca-Cola Christmas commercials, I guess, Idk that stuff is weird).

Oh well!! We still have a pretty tweed!!
