Our final air sign and our final cardinal sign is that of Libra. Libra runs from September 23-October 23, ruled by Venus, and is represented by the scales of Themis, the Greek personification of divine law and custom. Themis is the inspiration for modern depictions of Lady Justice.

As air signs, they are "of the mind" and considered one of the thinkers, communicators, and doers, alongside Gemini and Aquarius. As a cardinal sign, they usher in the new season, beginning with the fall equinox, and are seen as initiators, with drive and ambition.

Ruled by Venus, Libras are known to be flirty, but flighty. With their symbol of the scales, it's not *really* that their flighty or indecisive, but more than they're interested in weighing absolutely all of their options before making a decision. Sometimes it just takes longer than the rest of us would like. Libras also often all about the ~aesthetic~.

As the sign of justice, and an air sign, you can also find a lot of Libras working in non profit and organizing spaces (just anecdotally, A LOT of my coworkers at my pro-choice organizing job were air signs, mostly Libras)(there's a lot of Virgos, Libras, and Scorpios - is that because we're the most common birthdays, or is something else going on)?

Our Libra yarn is a clay red, with sky blue and mint green, with gold speckles.
