In the hot, hot heat of August, Starbucks' Pumpkin Spice Latte returns! In that vein, let's keep the heat on Starbucks - union busting is disgusting! Show your solidarity with unionizing partners this fall and winter with our Union Strong hat. This hat features yarns inspired by some of Starbucks most popular drinks, with a coffee and pro-union colorwork motif. Great to wear at your local sip-ins with Starbucks Workers United, on the picket line, and at other pro-labor rallies!
Each kit comes with a pdf download of the pattern, as well as six mini skeins of Chester Sock (87 yards, 20g, fingering weight). We'll also include a Union Strong and coffee cup stitch marker! Each kit will have Java Chip Frap, Irish Cream Cold Brew, Matcha Latte, Pink Drink, and Pumpkin Spice Latte, and then either No Yeah or Solidarity as your sixth mini, depending on your color work preferences. Our sample knit from Lindsey has No Yeah as its main color, and Kelley is working on another knit with Java Chip Frap as the main color and Solidarity as the Union Strong band around the hat. At gauge, each set of minis will make two hats.
Needles used: US2 / 2.75 mm - 16” / 40 cm circular needle and double-pointed needles
Gauge: 32 sts / 48 rds in 4” / 10 cm worked in stranded colorwork
