Yule
$6.00Yule is one of the oldest winter celebrations in world and is at its core, a celebration of the winter solstice - the shortest day and the longest night of the year.
The origin of the word Yule, has several suggested origins from the Old English word, geõla, the Old Norse word jõl, a pagan festival celebrated at the winter solstice, or the Anglo-Saxon word for the festival of the Winter Solstice, 'Iul' meaning 'wheel'.
Our Yule yarn is meant to look like a snow covered evergreen - mostly white, with deep evergreen, speckles of green, gold, cranberry and charcoal.
